Hey all, well I’m trying out Writely as a way to update my Blog from work since Typepad gets blocked by our firewall. Don’t you just love corporate america. This is put out by Google as part of their online office suite (sweet) which includes Google Calendar and Google Spreadsheets, both very cool apps themselves. This is a pretty cool interface and idea if you haven’t fiddled with it yet. Basically it’s an on-line word processor that has some blogging tools and allows you to view, edit and share a myriad of word processing type files, ie. Word files, PDF, ODT, etc. It auto-saves every 10 seconds and there are just a ton of cool features. So, I’m gonna keep this short to see if it works. If so, I’ll have a much easier time keeping my blog updated.
